Google Pixel 9 Series Finally Launched In India; Check Out The Pricing And Availability Details

After being the part of rumor mill for the past few months now, the Google Pixel 9 series was finally unveiled yesterday at Google’s Made By Google launch event. The series includes- Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold smartphones. This is the first time that Google has launched four models in the Indian market including a foldable model.

Google Pixel 9 series: Availability

If we talk about the Indian market, the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL offer 256GB storage which is exclusive to India. Google Pixel 9 arrives in single storage option 12GB/256GB priced at Rs.79,999. Pixel 9 Pro arrives with a starting price of Rs.1,09,999, Pixel 9 Pro XL starts at Rs.1,24,999, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold is priced at Rs.1,72,999 for 16GB/256GB.

Pixel 9 arrives in Obsidian, Porcelain, Wintergreen, and Peony colors. Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL come in Obsidian, Porcelain, Hazel, and Rose Quartz colors while Pixel 9 Pro Fold is available in Obsidian and Porcelain colors. Pre-orders in India for Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL will start from today in India while the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold devices are said to be available from next month.

As earlier revealed these new Pixel phones will be available online via Flipkart and through Reliance Digital and Croma offline stores.

The smartphone features a 6.3 inch Actua OLED display that offers 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ screen resolution, 2700 nits peak brightness, and 1800 nits HDR brightness and comes with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It is powered by Google Tensor G4 SoC with Titan M2 chip. It runs on Android 14 OS. The device packs up a 50MP main camera and 50MP ultrawide camera on the rear panel while on the front it features a 10.5MP selfie camera.

It is backed by a 4700mAh battery that supports 27W wired charging and 15W wireless charging with a Pixel stand. Other features include- Pixel Screenshots, Google AI, Magic Eraser, Magic Editor, Best Take, Photo Unblur, Portrait Light, Add Me, Face Unblur and IP68 rating.

Pixel 9 Pro/ Pixel 9 Pro XL

Both smartphones are powered by Google Tensor G4 with Titan M2 security chip. They feature a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a 48MP telephoto camera. While on the front they pack up a 42MP selfie camera. Both run on Android 14 OS. Other features included are IP68 rating, Pixel Screenshots, Magic Eraser, Magic Editor, Best Take, Photo Unblur, Portrait Light, Zoom Enhance, Add Me, Face Unblur and Pro Mode.

Pixel 9 Pro sports a 6.3-inch Super Actua OLED LTPO display while Pixel 9 Pro XL sports 6.8 inch Super Actua OLED LTPO display. Both offer 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits peak brightness, 2000 nits HDR brightness, and arrive with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Pixel 9 Pro is backed by a 4700mAh battery that supports 27W wired charging, and 21W wireless charging with Pixel Stand. While the Pixel 9 Pro XL is backed by a 5060mAh battery that supports 37W wired charging and 23W wireless charging with a Pixel stand.

Pixel 9 Pro Fold

This smartphone is Google’s first foldable that has made its debut in India. It features a 6.3-inch OLED cover display and an 8-inch main display that offers up to 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1800 nits HDR brightness, and 2700 nits peak brightness. It is powered by Tensor G4 SoC with Titan M2 security chip.

It packs up a 48MP main camera, a 10.5MP ultrawide camera, and a 10.8MP telephoto camera on the rear side. While on the cover and inner display it sports a 10MP selfie camera. It is backed by a 4,650mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging and Qi wireless charging. Other features include- Wifi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, UWB, Spatial Audio, Google AI features (Add me, Dual screen live transcribe, Pixel screenshot, reimagine), free Google VPN, Pixel studio, Gemini Live, and 1 year Google One AI premium plan.
