Earlier in 2020, a docuseries was announced on the life of Vince McMahon. Now, after about four years of the announcement, the docuseries is finally ready. The docuseries, titled ‘Mr. McMahon’ is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on 25 September. ‘Mr. McMahon’, docuseries has made an effort to present the chronicle of Vince’s rise and fall. Vince stepped down from the position of CEO and chairman of WWE in 2022 after he faced sexual misconduct allegations
The series features six one-hour episodes. The docuseries is directed by Chris Smith, who has previously been the Executive Producer of popular works like Tiger King. Chris Smith aims to unveil the true persona of Vince McMahon, contrary to the persona that Vince presented to the world. The executive producers of the series are Bill Simmons and Zara Duffy. Library Films in association with Ringer Films has produced the series.
Netflix took to the social media platform X and updated on their official X handle regarding the premiere of the docuseries.

Along with it, the series also features the journalists who uncovered McMahon’s allegations. According to the synopsis of the series, all these interviews amounted to about 200 hours, from which the final series was created.
Smith mentioned to Netflix regarding the production of the series which went on for about four hours. that the story saw an evolution in truly shocking ways. This further culminated in extremely harrowing allegations. He says that the final product is a revealing documentary that the creators believe offers a rich and nuanced portrait of the man and the complex legacy he left behind.
