Sony India has released the Sony BRAVIA X82L 4K TV series in India. This TV is available in 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch screen sizes. The model numbers of each variant are KD-55X82L, KD-65X82L and KD-75X82L respectively.
All the TV variants run on Google TV and are powered by Sony’s X1 4K HDR picture processor. This processor will ensure the display’s deep blacks, ideal textures, and realistic images.
The displays are direct LED panels with backlight from behind the panel. Sony’s proprietary TRILUMINOS PRO algorithm allows a wider color gamut and game-centric features to enhance compatibility with the PlayStation 5 system.
These TVs have 4K displays supported by Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for the most immersive experience with entertainment.
The Ambient Optimization Technology automatically adjusts the picture brightness to room conditions. It boosts brightness in bright rooms and reduces in dim rooms. The Acoustic Auto Calibration Technology detects the user’s position in a room and then optimizes the sound.
For gaming, these TVs feature HDMI 2.1 and Auto Low Latency Mode for better feedback and reactions. Once the TV is connected to a PS5, the TV will automatically switch into Game Mode and switch back to standard mode once the PS5 is turned off.
Google TV gives access to 10,000+ apps on the Google platform. Other than Google, these TVs support Apple HomeKit and AirPlay.
The 55-inch variant is priced at Rs 91,990 and the 65-inch variant is priced at Rs 1,24,990. The 75-inch variant’s price and availability aren’t disclosed yet. The 55-inch variant and the 65-inch variant are available from today onwards.
