Yesterday Huawei unveiled a bunch of new devices in the global markets. Among these newly launched devices are the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 and Huawei Watch Ultimate Green Edition which are now available for pre-orders.

Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2

Features

It sports a 12.2-inch Tandem OLED PaperMatte display that offers 2000 nits peak brightness, 2.8K screen resolution, 1.07 billion colors, 92% screen-to-body ratio, 3:2 aspect ratio, and 144Hz refresh rate. The device arrives with SGS Low Visual Fatigue 2.0 Premium Performance certification, TUV Rheinland Reflection free certification, and TUV Rheinland Full Care Display 3.0 certification.

It runs on HarmonyOS 4.2. It offers 12GB RAM and 256/512GB internal storage. The device packs up a 13MP+8MP dual rear camera setup and a Smart Sensing front camera. It is backed by a 5050 mAh dual cell battery capacity that supports 100W Huawei Supercharge. It is equipped with 4 microphones and 4 speakers. Connectivity options include- a USB Type-C port, NearLink, Bluetooth 5.2, dual band WiFi.

The tablet arrives with support for Huawei M-Pencil 3^rd generation and Huawei Glide Keyboard. Huawei Glide Keyboard is made of skin-soothing material and is resistant to everyday stains. The device arrives with a 5.5mm slim design and weighs 508g. It is equipped with features like the GoPaint app, a brand new professional brush engine, FangTian Paintin Engine 2.0, Huawei Notes, fingerprint ID, and Huawei sound.

Availability

It comes in Premium Gold and Black color options. It is available for pre-orders globally. Pre-order benefits include- free Huawei M-Pencil 3^rd generation, Huawei Glide Keyboard, and Huawei Wireless Mouse. The 512GB variant is priced at 999.99 Euros while the 256GB variant is priced at 849.99 Euros.

Features

This watch was already available in Blue and Black color options and now the company has unveiled a new Green Edition with enhanced features. The smartwatch is built with Zirconium-based liquid metal and features a sapphire lass dial, dual color nanotech ceramic bezel, Titanium alloy button, nanocrystal ceramic case back and 360-degree compass-inspired design.

It sports a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with themed watch faces. It is water resistant up to 10ATM. It offers up to 14 days of battery life in typical use and 8 days of battery life with heavy use. It supports Qi Wireless Charging. It comes with Huawei Global Advanced Golf Course mode. This feature uses precision dual-frequency GNSS to provide high-accuracy positioning, distance calculation, and intelligent recommendations. You can also keep a score check via the Huawei Health app.  The smartwatch features an enhanced Expedition mode that supports all-color contour maps for offline use and an Expedition Route Import feature. Health features include- ECG Analysis, SpO2 tracking, sleep tracking, and skin temperature measurement. It supports 100+ basic workout modes and 20+ professional sports. It supports Bluetooth calling.

This new edition is priced at RM 999,999. Consumers will be offered Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 earbuds as a free gift and RM150 Early Bird Voucher.

A few days back Huawei officially unveiled its latest Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 in the Chinese market and along with that Huawei MatePad Air also made its debut in the country. Well seems like the company is planning to launch Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 in the global markets as well.

This is because Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 has been spotted on UAE’s TDRA certification website with model number MRO-W09.

The listing reveals that this is the WiFi-only variant and also confirms that the tablet will be making its global debut. Along with this, the Huawei MatePad 12 X has also made its appearance on the database with model number BKY-W09. This is also the Wi-Fi-only variant.

Other than these details, nothing much regarding these tablets is revealed via the TDRA website but the appearance of the devices on the website hints that Huawei might soon announce the global launch of these devices. It arrives with AI capabilities to support the Huawei Star Leap Keyboard and features a built-in charging slot for the M-Pencil stylus. It packs up rear dual lens system that includes a 13MP main camera while on the front it features an 8MP selfie camera.
