In the month of May, Vivo officially unveiled its latest Vivo S19 series in China and along with this smartphone series the company also introduced its latest Vivo Watch GT . At the time of its launch the smartwatch arrived in two strap options- Silicone strap (Summer Night Black shade) and Vegan leather strap (Clear Sky and White cloud colors).

Vivo has now officially unveiled an all new Black Composite Woven Strap Option of Vivo Watch GT in China.

Other than this strap option, the company has also released some updates for this smartwatch.

The smartwatch now supports network-free communication function, fully upgraded Blue River ecosystem and can also act as a car key supporting various car control features.  The company has also added several new practical apps to the smartwatch. Vivo Watch GT arrives at a starting price of 499 Yuan.

Vivo Watch GT: Features

It features a 1.85-inch wide display that has a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels. It is packed with a number of AI features that we saw in the teaser video. Usually, companies launch a smartwatch with many smartwatch faces and now even lets you customize but this smartwatch lets you generate a watch face by voice command by the AI watch face. Isn’t it cool? The smartwatch AI shorthand feature lets you record your thoughts in real-time by speaking into the watch. The AI Smart Window reads the latest updates on flights, trains, taxis, movies, and medication services, and displays them on the top of the watch face.

In the health suite, you get sensors like heart rate and SpO2 sensors, a sleep tracker, and a menstrual cycle monitor. This smartwatch can also measure stress and detect the noise thus recommending you to move to a quiet place. It comes with over 1oo sports modes and also provides you with a sports coach with modes like basic introduction, fat burning, stress relief, and endurance training. It also comes with NFC support, a quick QR code, and quick cards. It is backed by a 505mAh battery that the company says can last up to 21 days in standby mode. As this smartwatch comes with eSIM support users won’t have to keep the phone with themselves while using it.

Vivo has confirmed that the T3 Ultra will break cover in the Indian market on September 12th and will be available via Flipkart.

old story continues below:

This morning, tipster Mukul Sharma unveiled the first look of the Vivo T3 Ultra, which is set to enter the Indian market soon. Rumours were circulating that this Ultra variant of the Vivo T3 Series would launch in September, and now, its microsite is live on Flipkart, revealing key specifications, including the processor details.

Vivo T3 Ultra Flipkart Microsite

The Flipkart microsite confirms that the Vivo T3 Ultra will feature a rear design similar to the Vivo S19 Pro, which was launched earlier in China. This marks the first time the Vivo T Series is getting an Ultra variant. The microsite also reveals that the T3 Ultra will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. Impressively, the device has achieved an AnTuTu score of over 1.6 million, surpassing the recently launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC in performance.

The Vivo T3 Ultra is touted as the first smartphone in its segment to feature a curved design while housing a 5500mAh battery, with a slim profile of just 7.58mm. It also supports 80W fast charging. Vivo has confirmed a 12GB RAM variant with an additional 12GB of extended (virtual) RAM, bringing the total memory capacity to 24GB.

The device will sport a 3D curved AMOLED display, although the exact screen size has not yet been revealed on the microsite. Based on the specifications and design, it appears to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S19 Pro, sharing the same processor and key features.

Vivo V30e 5G

The Vivo V40 series was recently revealed in the Indian market, featuring both a vanilla and a Pro variant. So far, the Vivo V40 SE 4G / 5G and Vivo V40 Lite have been launched in their respective markets, bringing the total number of smartphones in this series to four. However, we recently discovered the Vivo V40e on the Bluetooth SIG certification with the model number ‘V2403,’ which could be the fifth addition to this series and the successor to the Vivo V30e. The same model number has also appeared in the Geekbench database and has cleared the Indian BIS certification. Additionally, another Y series smartphone was spotted on the BIS, which I will discuss later in this article.

Vivo V40e Geekbench and BIS

The model number V2403 has now been spotted on the Geekbench database. While the moniker isn’t listed there, the Bluetooth SIG has confirmed it to be the Vivo V40e. In terms of performance, it achieved a single-core score of 1041 and a multi-core score of 3017.

The CPU is configured with two clusters: four cores running at 2 GHz and another four cores at 2.5 GHz. Additionally, I identified the GPU as the Mali-G615 MC2. After analysing all the details, the chipset corresponds to the MediaTek Dimensity 7300. The prototype spotted on Geekbench has 7.31 GB of RAM (marketed as 8GB RAM) and runs on Android 14 OS.

Interestingly, Vivo seems to have prioritised MediaTek over the Snapdragon chipset used in its predecessor, the V30e. Based on Geekbench records, the Vivo V40e is expected to have an edge over its predecessor, which was equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.

Additionally, this same model number, ‘V2403’, has appeared on the BIS certification alongside another model number, ‘V2422’. The latter was previously spotted in the IMEI database, where it was identified as the Y200 Plus. Although there is currently no further information regarding the Y200 Plus, I am hopeful that more details about this smartphone will emerge soon.

Vivo has a lot of new gadgets coming up for the global markets. One of them is a smartwatch called the Vivo Watch 3, while the other is a smartphone from the V40 Series called the V40e. The Vivo Watch 3 has been sighted on multiple certification websites, while the V40e was last spotted on the IMEI database. Vivo Watch 3 and Vivo V40e

First, focusing on the Vivo Watch 3, it is listed with the model number V2405 on the Bluetooth SIG. This same model number was earlier spotted on IMDA and SDPPI certifications. On a side note, Vivo launched the Watch 3 in its home country, China, last year and recently released the ECG version of it. Additionally, the Vivo Watch 3 Global variant was sighted on the NCC certification, which revealed the black colour option. However, the Chinese version of it came with three colour options: Black, Starlight, Bright Moon, and Moonlight White.

Not just the colour options, the NCC further revealed it to have a battery capacity of 485 mAh, while the Chinese counterpart came with a 505 mAh battery.

Next, we have discovered the Vivo V40e on the Bluetooth SIG certification with the model number “V2403”. Although the Bluetooth SIG didn’t reveal any specifications, it is listed alongside smartphones that have already been launched. Therefore, it is likely that the V40e will come with the same Bluetooth version as the other smartphones on the list, which is Bluetooth Version 5.4.

Additionally, the Vivo V40e 5G was spotted on the IMEI database with a different model number, “V2418”. It is possible that this smartphone might launch in different markets with slight alterations to the specs. However, let’s wait for the official information from Vivo to be released.
