Huawei To Host A Launch Event On 10th September; Huawei Tri-Fold Smartphone Expected To Be Unveiled At This Event
The Chinese manufacturer Huawei has today officially announced that it will be hosting a new product launch conference on 10th September in China but what caught the attention of tech enthusiasts was the poster image of the event announcement.
The poster depicts a tri-fold device which strongly suggests that the device will be unveiled at this event. The image shows two opposing hinges with a Z-type fold. This will be the world’s first tri-fold smartphone, though it is not sure whether the company will unveil just the prototype of the device or launch the device.
A recent report revealed that the tri-fold has entered the production phase. This tri-fold smartphone is said to come with the world’s first dual hinge with an internal and external folding function and a flat internal display of about 10 inches. The thickness is said to be not as good as a bi-fold phone. No official detail regarding the features of this smartphone has been shared till now.
Other than the tri-fold device, the company also teased the launch of a new version of the Alto M9 electric vehicle with 6 seats. You can check out the teaser video below.
At the upcoming launch event, Huawei is expected to unveil a tri-fold smartphone, the Alto M9 electric vehicle version, the Watch GT 5, the Watch D2, and TruSense hardware.
