Samsung Galaxy Book 5 series had already made headlines when it was sighted on some certification websites. At that time, speculations were high that it might launch soon, but it was unclear when this would happen. Samsung launched the Galaxy Book 4 Series back in December of last year globally, so everyone was expecting the same timeline for the Galaxy Book 5 series.

However, it appears Samsung had something else up its sleeve. Just a few hours ago, Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 in the UK market. This is among the first devices to be announced from the Galaxy Book 5 Series.

Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 Features and Specs

Performance and AI Integration

The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 uses Intel® Core™ Ultra processors (Series 2). Samsung states the device has up to 47 total TOPs NPU and offers over 300 AI-accelerated features across over 100 apps for various purposes including creativity, productivity, gaming, and entertainment.

Dr. Hark-Sang Kim’s statement highlights Samsung’s emphasis on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to improve user experiences.

He said, “The Galaxy Book5 series brings even more cutting-edge AI experiences to Galaxy users around the world who want to enhance and simplify their everyday tasks — a vision made possible by our continued collaboration with longtime industry partners, As one of our most powerful PCs, Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 brings together top-tier performance with Galaxy’s expansive mobile AI ecosystem for the ultimate AI PC experience.”

Ecosystem Connectivity

The laptop integrates with Samsung’s mobile ecosystem through Microsoft Phone Link. This allows users to access their Galaxy phone screen on the PC display, enabling the use of features such as:

  • Circle to Search with Google
  • Chat Assist
  • Live Translate
  • Transcript Assist

Display and Graphics

The device features a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Vision Booster technology. It has a 3K resolution display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a 10-point multi-touchscreen. Samsung reports a 17% graphics-performance improvement with the Intel ARC GPU.

Design and Additional Features

The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is described as slim and lightweight, available in Gray and Silver. It includes an adaptive palm rejection touchpad. The device has Quad speakers with Dolby Atmos and an updated woofer.

Security and Availability

The laptop is protected by Samsung Knox, the company’s security platform. As a Copilot+ PC, it also includes the security features of Windows 11.

It is currently available for pre-order in the UK, priced at £1,699 for the 512GB variant and £1,899 for the 1TB variant. It comes with 16GB of RAM and is available in a single colour, grey. Samsung is also offering the option to pay in monthly instalments of £47.20 for the 512GB model and £52.75 for the 1TB model over 36 months.

Samsung plans to release the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 in other markets, including Canada, France, Germany, and the US, starting in September. However, there is currently no information on when it will be available in the Indian market.
