Lenovo Unveils its Legion Tab Globally: Appears to be a Repackaged Legion Y700 (2023) Tablet

Lenovo has unveiled a new tablet device in the global market. From what it appears, this is probably the rebranded version of the brand’s Legion Y700 (2023) tablet that was launched in China last year.

Check out the specifications and the other features of this latest Lenovo product below.

Lenovo Legion Tab Unveiled in the Global Market

The Lenovo Legion Tab is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and is integrated with an Adreno GPU. The device also has the Android 13 operating system onboard with expected Android 14 and Android 15 upgrades. The device also has a soldered 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Storage expansion of up to 1TB is also supported.

It has a 2.5K display screen (2560 x 1600 pixels) with a screen size of 8.8″ and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The display also supports multi-touch(10-point touch), 500 nits brightness, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10.

About the cameras, at the rear it has a dual camera setup consisting of a 13MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, an 8MP front-facing camera is also provided. Two 2712 superliner speaker supporting Dolby Atmos, dual microphone, dual X-axis motor, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, hall sensor, e-compass, S-Pen support, and Legion Coldfront cooling system are all part of the device as well.

A 6550 mAh battery is also backed within the device along with a 68W USB type-C fast charge adaptor. It is also claimed that the device will offer 12.8 hours local video playback time, 53.6 hours music playback time, and 12.3 hours web browsing time.

On the connectivity side, it supports no cellular connectivity, but has Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 support. Other connectivity options include two USB type-C ports and a card slot.

In the global market, the device will be made available in only one color choice – Storm Grey. It will feature a metal body and a folio case will be provided along with it. Even if the device supports S-Pen, customers will have to buy it separately.

As mentioned, specification and design-wise, this Lenovo Legion Tab is more or less similar to the Lenovo Legion Y700 (2023) tablet that was launched in the Chinese market in the month of July 2023. The latest device therefore is possibly the rebranded version of the 2023-launched Legion Y700 (2023).
