Looking at the performance of the two devices, the Xiaomi 14 Pro device powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset offers the best performance when compared to the Vivo X100 Pro smartphone which is equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chipset.

Both the smartphones feature an LTPO AMOLED display panel, and support the same 120Hz refresh rate. The Vivo smartphone has a slightly larger display screen, whereas the Xiaomi device has a higher resolution.

The cameras offered on the two smartphones are also the same. At the rear, the devices sport triple camera units. They house a 50MP main camera, 50MP telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide camera, along with a 32MP front-facing camera. However, it is to be noted that the Vivo smartphone has a periscope telephoto lens, while the Xiaomi device only has a normal telephoto lens.

The Vivo smartphone is backed by a larger battery of 5260/5400 mAh. Comparing to this, the Xiaomi device has a fairly smaller battery of 4880 mAh. But when it comes to the charging specs, the Xiaomi device outperforms the Vivo smartphone. It supports a faster 120W wired, same 50W wireless, and a better 10W reverse wireless charging features.

For the verdict, based on the overall specifications offered Xiaomi’s 14 Pro device is a better choice, primarily because of the performance and the charging specs offered. But if you want a larger display screen, more battery backup, and the advantages of a periscope telephoto lens, the Vivo X100 Pro smartphone can be considered.
