The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi yesterday officially unveiled its latest Xiaomi 14T smartphone series and Xiaomi MIX Flip foldable device in the global market. Other than these latest smartphones, the brand has also unveiled a few wearable gadgets for global consumers- Xiaomi Buds 5, Xiaomi Smart Band 9, and upgraded Xiaomi Watch 2.

Xiaomi Buds 5

Features

The Xiaomi Buds 5 comes equipped with 11mm drivers augmented with the Harman AudioEFX tuning for an immersive listening experience. These earbuds also come with three inbuilt mics in each earbud with AI noise cancellation that delivers crystal clear quality on calls even when you are in quite a noisy environment. It supports Active Noise Cancellation. It supports Bluetooth 5.4 and offers 73ms low latency.

It can work for up to 6.5 hours with ANC off and with the charging case, it can work for up to 39 hours with ANC off. These earbuds come with IP54 dust and water resistance. It supports dual device connection and it’s easy to switch between two devices.

Xiaomi Smart Band 9

Features

It sports a 1.62-inch HD 2.5D AMOLED display that offers a 60Hz refresh rate. It comes with 200 watch faces and with Always-On display feature. It offers various health monitoring features like- heart rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, sleep tracking, and female health tracking. Users will get 150 workout modes along with courses on running, boxing, and more. It is backed by a 233 mAh battery and is claimed to offer up to 21 days battery life. It arrives with 5ATM water resistance. You also get incoming call alerts, a quick message reply feature, a remote camera control, and smart controls for music on this band.

It is priced at €39.99. The color options include- Midnight Black, Glacier Silver, Mystic Rose, and Arctic Blue.

Xiaomi Watch 2

Features & Availability

Xiaomi Watch 2 was launched in global markets in February 2024, yesterday the brand unveiled an upgraded version of this watch globally. It comes in a new Titan grey color option. It includes 10 fun watch faces and a Pet Park feature that encourages users to stay active. This updated version also allows users to control the Xiaomi TV Max Smart 2025 using a remote function and provides access to interactive boxing lessons through the Mi Fitness app.

This upgraded Xiaomi Watch 2 is priced at €169.

Its dual-core architecture enables high performance and low power consumption autonomous switching. For fitness enthusiasts, it comes with 160 sports modes, including new winter sports modes. For accurate location, it supports L1+L5 GNSS. The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi unveiled its latest fitness tracker Xiaomi Smart Band 9 last month in its home country. This fitness tracker features an updated design with a durable metal body and packs several improvements over its predecessor Xiaomi Smart Band 8.

The company has not mentioned anything regarding the global launch of the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 yet but it was expected that this fitness tracker could arrive in the global market too. While the users were waiting for the global launch announcement of the Xiaomi Smart Band 9, tipster @MysteryLupin shared that the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 will be going global soon.

Though the tipster has not revealed the launch timeline we might get to know the details soon. Xiaomi announced a bunch of products to be launched at the fifth Annual Speech on 19th July and everyone was searching for just Xiaomi MIX Flip smartphone which will be the company’s first flip phone. Finally, the company has announced that the Xiaomi MIX Flip will also be launched on the same day in China. Xiaomi has also confirmed a few specs of this phone on Weibo.

As per the company, the Xiaomi MIX Flip smartphone will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5X RAM. It will be equipped with the 3D step cooling VC for better heat dissipation. This flip phone will also feature Leica optics Summilux large aperture lens, a 4870mAh battery, and a full-size large external screen. It will boast a 4.01-inch wide cover screen that has 1.5K resolution and 1600 nits of peak brightness.
