Honor Unveils its Honor X50 Smartphone in China: Starts at CNY 1,399

Honor as promised has unveiled the Honor X50 smartphone in the Chinese market at a starting price of CNY 1,399 and the pre-orders of the device has started. The smartphone will be made available for open sales starting from the 14th of July, 2023.

Honor X50 Unveiled in China

The newly announced Honor X50 smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset with a primary clock speed of 2.2GHz. The device runs on the Android 13-based Magic UI 7.1 custom UI and has the Adreno 710 GPU. The Honor X50 smartphone is available in four storage options 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB.

The smartphone for it display features an AMOLED display panel with a screen size of 6.78 inches and a screen resolution of 1220 x 2652 pixels. It also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness rate of 1200 nits.

Coming to its cameras, the Honor X50 smartphone has a 108MP dual camera setup at its rear with an additional 2MP macro camera. For selfies, an 8MP front-facing camera is also offered.

About its battery backup, the smartphone is equipped with a 5800 mAh battery which supports a wired fast charge of 35W and has a 6W reverse wired charging feature.

In China, the smartphone has been introduced at a price of CNY 1,399 for its base model(8GB/128GB). The other variants are priced at CNY 1,599, CNY 1,799, and CNY 1,999 respectively, for the 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB storage variants. Four color choices of the smartphone have also been made available and customers can pick from Black(Elegant Black), Blue(Brown Blue), Silver(After the Rain), and Orange(Burning Orange) color options.
