On 22nd February, the Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi officially unveiled its highly anticipated smartphone- Xiaomi 14 Ultra in its home country China. Xiaomi is all set to unveil Xiaomi 14 series in the global markets on 25th February. The series will be including Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphones.
While Xiaomi 14 is confirmed to launch in India on 7th March, there was no official announcement made by the company regarding the launch of the Ultra model in India. Today @gsmchinacom has revealed on the X platform that Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be officially launching in the Indian market.
Xiaomi smartphones have 4 different regions- GL (Global), IN (India), CN (China) and JN (Japan). The above photo reveals codes that confirm in which markets the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be sold. The device has values “GL”, “CN” and “IN” which confirms that Xiaomi 14 Ultra will officially made available in the Indian market. Xiaomi 14 Ultra could make its debut in India after the launch of the Xiaomi 14 smartphone in the country. However, we do need to wait for the official confirmation regarding the launch of Xiaomi 14 Ultra in India.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra: Specifications
The device features a 6.73-inch 2k LTPO OLED C8 display that offers 3000 nits of brightness, DC+1920 Hz, 2160 Hz PWM Dimming rate, P3 wide color gamut, and 120 Hz refresh rate. It sports a Micro Quad Curved display that is protected by Xiaomi Longjing Glass. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC that is paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
It is backed by a 5300mAh battery with G1, and P2 surge chips and supports 90W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging. The device packs up a quad rear camera setup that includes 50MP LYT-900 with OIS, 50MP IMX858 Ultra-wide camera, 50MP IMX8583 3.2x telephoto with OIS and 50MP IMX858 5x periscope with OIS.
