Yesterday, my colleague Estuti discovered the Vivo Y18s with the model number “V2410” on the Bluetooth SIG certification. And today, I found it listed on Vivo’s Vietnamese website with same specs as that of the Vivo Y18. Vivo has been launching several smartphones nowadays, often by simply rebranding existing models. In my opinion, it’s rather confusing when reporting on Vivo’s smartphones. But enough said about the rebranding; let me share the details with you about this new or rebranded Vivo Y18s.
Vivo Y18s Specs
You will get the same screen 6.56″ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, 269 ppi pixel density, and a peak brightness of 840 nits. Under the hood, you are going to be greeted with Helio G85 12nm with CPU cores clocked at 2×2.0GHz + 6×1.8GHz and will boat from funtouchOS 14 based on Android 14. It supports a dual back camera setup of 50MP + 0.08MP with LED flash and an 8MP front selfie shooter.
You will see a typical 5,000 mAh battery with a support of 15W fast charging. in terms of connectivity, you will get WIFI 5, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0, FM support, and again NFC is missing.
It comes with a 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with an extended/virtual RAM of 6GB along with this you will get 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. There is also an option for you to extend the storage by 1TB with the help of a microSD card.
Vivo Y18s Pricing
It is only available in a single memory option, 6GB+128GB and currently its pricing hasn’t been announced yet. But Vivo Y18 is available with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and costs about 4,490,000 Vietnamese dong (Approx. $ 176.53) Both Y18 and Y18s are available in two colour options Mocha brown and Green Hai Luu.
