It’s no doubt to say that we are going to mark the beginning of the best EV’s era.

Despite the pandemic, that resulted in a downfall in many retail sectors, the EVs set a benchmark in the global market. It is interesting to note that EV’s sales increased by 168 percent compared to 2020 sales worldwide during the first quarter of 2021. Total EVs sold were 2.65 million.
Let’s have a look at the best upcoming models under EVs that is going to hit on the roads in 2022-
BMW i4-

As the brand has been named already for sedan ranges, it will carry forward its legacy under Electric versions too for the next-gen 4 Series. It will have an iDrive 8 interface across widescreen and up for around 300 miles on a charge.

Ferrari 296 GTB-

Ferrari has unveiled the new 296 GTB( GTB suffix representing Gran Turismo Berlinetta) as the latest entry into its Berlinetta sports car family. It has a plug-in hybrid system. The British sports car also uses a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 working together with an electric motor.
Ferrari 296 GTB offers an overall output of 818 hp and 740 Nm of torque. The electrically-assisted punch has 164 hp that is provided by the rear e-motor that enables 0 to 62 mph run within 2.9 seconds that matches F8.
Mercedes-Benz EQE-

Mercedes-Benz EQE is a Sedan variant of the Mercedes-Benz EQ family. There are claims that the best vehicle in its class is based on Noise reduction.
Mercedes EQE will have a 90kWh battery giving 410 miles of range, a single motor capable of generating 288 bhp, and 530 Nm of torque. It can travel by 660 km ideally on a full charge.
The pricing of the Marcedes-EQE could start from 75 lakh.- as per sources

Audi Q4 E-Tron is known to be an electric compact luxury crossover SUV. It is from the Audi e-Tron series family.
The Audi Q4 E-Tron has been produced in two distinct body styles, that are– the standard SUV model, and a sleeker, rakish-roofed Sportback model.
Audi Q4 is powered by a rear-mounted electric motor delivering 170hp and 310Nm torque that enables 0 to 100 kph within 9 sec. The range of the SUV model is around 341 km whereas the Sportback model has a marginally higher 349 km range.

Kia Motors unveiled the fifth generation of Sportage with hybrid (HEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models into it.
Kia Sportage has a 1.6-liter TGDI engine capacity of 177 hp and 265 Nm of torque and the 2-liter diesel engine has 183 hp and 416 Nm of torque.
Kia Sportage has been equipped with ADAS(Advanced Driver Assistance System) Technology, Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC), Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance, Remote Smart Parking Assist(RSPA), and other technologies too.
Ford Mustang Mach-E –

Ford Mustang Mach-E has built two models- 75kWh(Standard range) and 98KWh(Extended range)battery with either a single motor or twin motor layout.
The officially claimed range is 379 miles making it the longest-haul electric car. Ford Mustang Mach-E is capable of 0 to 62mph within 3.7 secs and has 480 bhp.
MG 5-

MG 5

MG 5 is also under the sedan class. It is long-range, spacious.
MG 5 EV is powered by a 61.1kWh, water-cooled lithium-ion battery that has a driving range of up to 250 miles from a single charge.
The car is equipped with Driver Assist Package(MG Pilot) that ensures safety and comfort for the driving experience.

Tesla Model 3-

Tesla Model 3 is an electric fastback compact sedan manufactured by Tesla. There are also two models available- the base model has 272 miles electric range and the Long Range version has 358 miles of electric range.
The car is equipped with full self-driving hardware.
