Xiaomi Launched Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 And Its First Flip Phone MIX Flip In China

Xiaomi has just launched several products in the home market though no one can disagree that the foldable smartphone and its first flip phone were the focus point of the launch event. Xiaomi MIX Fold 4

This is the company’s fourth-generation horizontal book-style folding phone that goes by the name Xiaomi MIX Fold 4. This smartphone weighs 226g and is 9.47mm thin when folded and when unfolded it measures 4.59mm. It has got a large rectangular black island on the rear that houses the camera setup of the handset. The company says that it comes with improved durability and reliability because of the super strong steel material that has been used in the hinge making it Xiaomi’s proprietary hinge 2.0. The hinge is said to have a lifespan of 500,000 folds.

Now coming to the specs the Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 smartphone features a 6.56-inch wide quad curved cover display. On the internal side, you get to see a 7.98-inch wide display with 2,488 x 2,224 pixels. Both inner and outer displays sport a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits of peak brightness. It also comes with HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision support. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. In the camera department foldable has got 50MP main sensor with OIS support, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 50MP portrait telephoto unit, and a 10MP periscope lens. It also sports a 20MP selfie camera on the cover and inner display. The smartphone is backed by a 5100mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Xiaomi MIX Flip

Xiaomi has also launched its first flip phone during the launch event. This smartphone comes with the 6.86 inch wide TCL C8+ 1.5K 1-120Hz AMOLED screen with 3000 nits peak brightness. Its cover display is a 4.01-inch wide C8+ 1.5K display with 3,000 nits of peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate. The cover display is compatible with more than 200 apps and also supports a full-sized keyboard on it. This flip phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5X RAM. It also comes equipped with a thermal conductive VC design with a 3500mm square area. It comes with a dual camera setup on the rear featuring two 50MP cameras one as the main camera and another as a telephoto lens. This smartphone is said to rely on the same compact dual-link hinge’s internal mechanism that the company has used in the Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 smartphone. It is backed by a 4780mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging.
