Whatsapp Rolling Out A New Feature To Share Images And Video Automatically In High Quality
Last year, Whatsapp allowed users to share HD photos and HD videos in chat which allowed the users to send images or videos in high quality without compressing the image and highlighting the minute details. But for this, the users had to manually change the setting before sending the desired photo or video to their contacts. Well, reports suggest that WhatsApp will now be rolling out a new feature that makes sending HD photos or videos more simple and easy as users will be able to set HD quality in default mode.
Whatsapp will be introducing a new setting called “Multimedia upload quality” within the “Storage and data” section which will allow users to set default sending quality to HD. This will save the users from manually changing the settings every time they need to send an HD photo or video.
Steps to Set HD as Default Media Quality-
- Tap on Whatsapp Settings
- Click on Storage and Data
- Click on Media Upload Quality
- Select default HD quality
The feature is said to be rolling out to users and it may take time to reach all the users. Recently Whatsapp has also rolled out an Instant Video Note feature for the Whatsapp users.
