Tecno Spark Go 1 (KL4) sighted on Google Play Console with Unisoc Tiger T615 SOC, also spotted on several certifications

Tecno has been launching the Spark Go models with the year as part of the moniker, like the Spark Go 2024. However, it seems that Tecno will be changing the branding of the Spark Go series slightly. We have now discovered that the next Spark Go will be called the Spark Go 1, which I will discuss in the article below.

Tecno Spark Go 1

The upcoming smartphone from Tecno is listed on the EEC certification with the model number ‘KL4’. The listing also reveals its name and suggests that it will launch in the European market as well.

Next is the FCC certification, which reveals that the device will have a battery capacity of 4,900 mAh with support for 10W (U100TSA) fast charging. Additionally, the certification includes a back schematic of the smartphone, which, with its dual-camera setup and LED flash, resembles the iPhone 14. It is also revealed that the phone will come with a memory option of 128GB + 4GB.

After checking the FCC, I also spotted the device on the TUV certification. This certification confirms that the battery capacity will indeed be 4,900 mAh, as previously indicated by the FCC.

Both the Geekbench and Google Play Console listings point to a UNISOC T615 SoC paired with a Mali G57 GPU. Let’s start with the Google Play Console listing. The same model number ‘KL4’ and the name Tecno Spark Go 1 are present.

The listing reveals that the CPU will have 2 cores running at 1.8 GHz and 6 cores at 1.6 GHz. It also shows that the device will run on Android 14 OS out of the box, with at least 4GB of RAM. The screen will have a resolution of 720×1600 with a pixel density of 320 DPI.

On the Geekbench database, the device achieved a single-core score of 424 and a multi-core score of 1,464. The listing shows 6 cores clocked at 1.61 GHz and 2 cores at 1.82 GHz. The CPU, as revealed in the source code, is the UNISOC T615 SoC, and the GPU is the Mali G57, consistent with the information in the Google Play Console database. This listing also confirms that the device will run on Android 14 OS with at least 4GB of RAM.

Based on previous Tecno Spark Go models, you can expect a similar price point of around $100 (approximately ₹8,000). As for the launch timeline, it remains undisclosed, but you can anticipate it to be released soon.
