OnePlus Rolls-Out the OxygenOS 13.1.0.590 Update for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro Smartphones: July 2023 Android Security Patch
The Chinese smartphone makers, OnePlus has started to roll-out the OxygenOS 13.1.0.590 update to two of its premium smartphones – the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro devices. The update brings the July 2023 Android security patch along with a few improvements and fixes.

OxygenOS 13.1.0.590 Update
The OxygenOS 13.1.0.590 update that is currently being rolled out for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro smartphones is for the users in the Indian and European regions. For the OnePlus 9 smartphone, the update has a firmware version of LE2111_13.1.0.590(EX01) in India and LE2113_13.1.0.590(EX01) in the European countries. The update for the OnePlus 9 Pro smartphone has firmware versions of LE2121_13.1.0.590(EX01) and LE2123_13.1.0.590(EX01) in India and Europe, respectively.
As mentioned, with the update, the July 2023 Android security patch will be integrated with the device, enhancing the overall system security of the smartphone. Improvements will also be brought to system stability and performance as well. The stability of mobile network connections will also be improved. The issue with the Hasselblad watermark not being display in certain scenarios will also be fixed with the update.
The update is being rolled out in phases and few of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro users might have received the update by now. For others, the update will be rolled out in the coming few days.
If by chance, any bugs or issues are encountered after updating the device, users may submit it as feedback in the feedback form given on the respective update page or they can directly give it as comments on the update thread. For Indian users, they may also dial “*#800#” and fill in the bugs or issues on the pop-up menu that appears.
