OPPO, the Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, has revealed three of its new Mag accessories in the brand’s home market. The latest devices as revealed earlier will be launched along with the Find X8 series flagships.

OPPO’s New Mag Accessories Revealed – Mag Case, AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger, and 80W Magnetic Power Bank

As per the teaser video shared, three new Mag accessories have been revealed and this includes the OPPO Mag Case, AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger, and the 80W Magnetic Power Bank. Previously, we saw an additional SUPERVOOC 80W Power Bank and SUPERVOOC 120W Dual Port Charging Brick also being teased and pointed out to be released with the Find X8 series devices in China.

The Mag Case is revealed to come in five colors of Blue, Pink, White, Black, and Blue, with compatibility for the brand’s latest Find X-series flagships. The AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger is understood to be made available in Black and Silver colors, and offers a cooling feature. The 80W Magnetic Power Bank has an ultra slim design, unlike the previously revealed SUPERVOOC 80W Power Bank, and can be attached magnetically to the Mag Case.

All these charging accessories from OPPO will be released on the 24th of October 2024, next week, on the same day the Find X8 series devices will debut in China. Following the release, their availability will soon be ensured. Also to add, both the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro smartphones are said to support 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging features.

It was previously revealed by the OPPO Product Manager – Zhou Yibao that the brand plans to unveil new charging accessories with the upcoming Find X8 series flagships and now, it has been confirmed that three new charging devices will be launched by the brand soon. This includes the brand’s first SUPERVOOC 80W power bank, first AIRVOOC 50W magnetic charger, and the first SUPERVOOC 120W dual port charging brick.

As per the poster images that have been shared, the pre-booking for the AIRVOOC 50W magnetic charger and SUPERVOOC 120 dual port charging brick went live today in China, on the 16th of October 2024, at 11 AM local time. The pre-booking for the SUPERVOOC 80W power bank is in progress as well, and is expected to start soon. Chinese customers will be able to get them via OPPO Mall, JD, and Tmall shopping platforms.

The official launch of the Find X8 series will be taking place on the 24th of October 2024, and the brand has already confirmed that it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor and will run on the ColorOS 15 custom skin based on Android 15 OS. The camera samples of the Find X8 Pro model were also recently shared.

Speaking of some of the other updates, the spec sheet of the upcoming Find X8 series smartphones got leaked recently, which revealed many of its expected specs. Also, we exclusively shared that three storage models of the Find X8 series devices will be unveiled in the Indian market as well after their China debut, and the release is possibly going to take place around the end of this month.

Late last month, OPPO’s upcoming Find X8 model was spotted on the Indian BIS and Indonesian SDPPI certification platforms, and following this, the flagship has made it to the SIRIM certification database of Malaysia. Also to add with this, the AIRVOOC 50W magnetic charger of OPPO has also been certified by the SIRIM authority, as well as by USA’s FCC authority.

OPPO Find X8 and AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger – SIRIM Certification

Firstly about the upcoming smartphone, the OPPO Find X8 device has appeared on the SIRIM database with the same model of ‘CPH2651’ with which it had made it to the BIS and SDPPI platforms. It has received the SIRIM certification with the type approval code of ‘RGQL/64H/0924/S(24-4195)’, and the certificate will be valid till the 30th of September 2027.

Apart from the BIS, SDPPI, and SIRIM certifications, the Find X8 was spotted on other global certification databases such as NBTC, EEC, SGS Fimko, and IMDA websites too. It has received Chinese 3C and MIIT certifications as well. The device is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 processor, may feature a 6.5″ 1.5K+ display screen, and is likely to have an 80W fast charge support.

Coming to the AIRVOOC 50W magnetic charger, it bears the model number – ‘OAWV08’ and has received SIRIM certification with type approval code – ‘RGIH/57C/0924/S(24-3964)’. The certification validity will be till the 5th of September 2027.

OPPO/OnePlus AIRVOOC 50W Magnetic Charger – FCC Certification

On the FCC platform, the AIRVOOC 50W magnetic charger has again appeared with the same model number of ‘OAWV08’ and received the certification with FCC ID – ‘2ABZ2-OAWV08’. Interesting to note, the device will also be arriving with OnePlus branding as per the FCC certification.

Other OPPO Related Updates

The OPPO product manager, Zhou Yibao, recently shared via his Weibo handle some updates on the magnetic wireless charging accessories that the company plans to unveil with the Find X8 lineup. This will include 50W magnetic chargers, ultra-thin magnetic cases, and portable magnetic power banks that are said to be compatible with devices of other brands too. He also mentioned that the Find X8 series models will feature 50W wireless charging capability, as well as reverse charging support.
