Honor Magic 7 Series – Real Life Images and Tipped Storage Options and Color Choices

Early in the month of September itself, we came across the real life image of the Magic 7 Pro device, revealing its front display, and looking at the real life image of the display now shared, it perfectly aligns with each other. Design specs such as the slightly curved display and the centrally-aligned pill-shaped cutout (seemingly with two camera lenses) can be seen in the latest images too.

Coming to the rear panel, even if the rear panel design images that were shared before have some similarities, the camera unit has a few differences when it comes to the real life images. We can spot the Magic 7 series device in two colors – Black and Grey. The camera module is in an octagonal shape with silver/gray border highlights. There are four internal circular modules with three of them carrying camera sensors. One of them is a periscope telephoto lens as well. There is also an LED flash strip placed in a vertical manner at the top of the camera module. Honor branding can be seen at the bottom part of the rear panel.

The packaging box is in Black color with ‘Honor’ and ‘MagicOS’ markings on it.

October is going to be a banger month with several flagship devices launching. Honor is rumoured to be among the manufacturers bringing a new Magic 7 Series. Speculation surrounding its specifications has been gaining momentum. Adding to the excitement, we have spotted the Magic 7 Series on the Chinese 3C certification, which reveals details about its charging capabilities.

Honor Magic 7 Series on 3C

A total of five devices have been spotted on the 3C certification, all of which are shown to support 100W Wired fast charging. Although there is no evidence linking specific model numbers to particular monikers, reports suggest that the AN20 and AN70 models support satellite connectivity. The other three models are likely to be the Magic 7, Magic 7 Pro, and Magic 7 Ultimate. There is also a possibility that PTP-AN20 and PTP-AN60 are the Magic 7 Pro and Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design versions, respectively.

Recently, DCS also hinted that the Honor Magic 7 Series may launch in October itself, meaning it will be competing against other manufacturers. Several rumours have revealed that the Honor Magic 7 Series will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. The Pro variant’s specifications of the Magic 7 Series were recently disclosed, including 66W wireless charging support.

As the launch day draws nearer, we hope more details will be unveiled.

Honour launched the Magic 6 series in January of this year in its home country China and later released it globally. However, there have always been rumours that Honour would launch the next Magic series soon. Well, this ‘soon’ wasn’t expected; according to DCS, Honour may launch the Magic 7 series sooner than anticipated.

As per DCS, we may see the launch happening in October itself, which is just days away, as September is about to end. One more interesting fact: DCS has revealed that the series will probably include the standard variant and a Pro variant for the October launch. Also, an Ultra variant will be coming after the new year. Though he didn’t mention exactly when, it could possibly happen in January or February.

Recent images have revealed the front and side views of the device, presumably the Honour Magic 7 Pro. The front features a slightly curved display with round edges and a pill-shaped cutout at the top. The side houses volume and power buttons, whilst the bezels appear thick. The bottom side suggests a USB Type-C port and speaker grille.

Regarding specifications, a recent CNMO report suggests that the device may sport a 6.82-inch OLED micro-curved display supporting 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 8T LTPO technology. It is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, paired with UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5x RAM. The front camera is expected to be a 50MP sensor, whilst the rear may feature a triple camera system: a 50MP main camera, 50MP ultra-wide camera, and 50MP telephoto lens.

The device is expected to be backed by a 5800mAh battery supporting 100W wired fast charging and 66W wireless charging. Other anticipated features include IP68/69 rating, single-point ultrasonic unlocking, 2D face recognition, Honour Eagle Snap 3.0, satellite communication, and more.

This device is expected to make its debut in October, aligning with the earlier launch timeline predictions.
