Honor Magic 7 Series is all set to make its debut in China on 30^th October. The series is said to include two smartphones- Honor Magic 7 and Honor Magic 7 Pro.  Recently a lot of details regarding this upcoming smartphone series were revealed online while the brand was also expected to soon start teasing the features of this upcoming series.

Honor has today officially revealed the design of the Honor Magic 7 Series. Though the brand has not exactly revealed the model name which is revealed it may be the Honor Magic 7 smartphone as recently Honor Magic 7 Pro’s real life image was leaked online which showcased a slightly different camera module than what is revealed below.

The smartphone is seen in the Moon Shadow ray color option that is said to be inspired by the world’s first science fiction blockbuster- A Trip To The Moon. The series will arrive with AI features. Reportedly Magic 7 device is said to have 512GB and 1TB storage models, with Gold, White, Black, Blue, and Gray colorways. The Magic 7 Pro smartphone on the other hand will likely be available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options, and in White, Black, Blue, and Gray colors.

Regarding the Honor Magic 7 series, the two smartphones may have more or less similar specs as per previous reports and users can expect the same Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and triple rear cameras with a 50MP Omnivision OV50H main camera, a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera and a 50MP/200MP Samsung HP3 camera. OLED displays can be expected as well, and while a 1.5K resolution is likely expected on the vanilla model, the pro variant could come with a 2K resolution. Satellite connectivity support is also said to be present on the Magic 7 Pro device.

Other expected/revealed specifications are the brand’s enhanced eye protection 3.0, 2D face recognition, IP68/IP69 water-resistant body, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, 100W wired charging, and AI Agent on-device personal assistant.

Honor’s Magic 7 series is set to have its debut in the Chinese market this month and very recently, the possible rear panel design images of the two upcoming devices were shared online. Just a day later, the real-life images of the Magic 7 series smartphones have been revealed along with its packaging box. Also, the storage options and color choices for the devices have also been tipped.

Honor Magic 7 Series – Real Life Images and Tipped Storage Options and Color Choices

Early in the month of September itself, we came across the real life image of the Magic 7 Pro device, revealing its front display, and looking at the real life image of the display now shared, it perfectly aligns with each other. Design specs such as the slightly curved display and the centrally-aligned pill-shaped cutout (seemingly with two camera lenses) can be seen in the latest images too.

Coming to the rear panel, even if the rear panel design images that were shared before have some similarities, the camera unit has a few differences when it comes to the real life images. We can spot the Magic 7 series device in two colors – Black and Grey. The camera module is in an octagonal shape with silver/gray border highlights. There are four internal circular modules with three of them carrying camera sensors. One of them is a periscope telephoto lens as well. There is also an LED flash strip placed in a vertical manner at the top of the camera module. Honor branding can be seen at the bottom part of the rear panel.

The packaging box is in Black color with ‘Honor’ and ‘MagicOS’ markings on it.

Regarding the tipped storage options and color choices, as per what has been shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, the vanilla Magic 7 device is said to have 512GB and 1TB storage models, with Gold, White, Black, Blue, and Gray color ways. The Magic 7 Pro smartphone on the other hand will likely be available in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options, and in White, Black, Blue, and Gray colors.

Honor will be officially releasing its MagicOS 9.0 on the 23rd of October 2024 and following which, the Magic 7 series smartphones will officially be debuted on the 30th of October 2024 in China. Some of its expected key specs include Qualcomm Snpadragon 8 Elite processor, 50MP (Omnivision OV50H, main) + 50MP (Sony IMX882, periscope telephoto) + 50MP/200MP (Samsung HP3 ) triple rear camera unit, 1.5K (standard model) and 2K (pro model) OLED displays, 5800 mAh battery (for pro model), 100W wired charging, 66W wireless charging (for pro model), IP68/IP69-rated body, and ultrasonic fingerprint reader. The tablet sports 12.3 inch 3K IMAX Enhanced OLED display that offers 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10 support, up to 1600 nits brightness, UHF 4320Hz PWM dimming, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and 1.07 billion colors. It is powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor paired with 8/12/16GB RAM and 128/256/512GB internal storage. It runs on MagicOS 8.0. Honor has now introduced two new smartphone devices to its X60 series, following the X60i launch of July 2024. Along with the latest X60 series smartphones, the brand has also unveiled the Pad X9 tablet with a different processor.

Honor X60

The Honor X60 smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7025 Ultra (6 nm) chipset, integrated with the IMG BXM-8-256 GPU, and runs on the Magic OS 8 custom skin based on the Android 14 operating system. It comes in four storage options – 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB.

It has a TFT LCD display screen, with a screen size of 6.8″, resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. A 108MP (wide) single camera unit at the rear, and a front-facing camera of 8MP (wide) have been given. On the battery side, the device packs a 5800 mAh large battery, and supports 35W wired and 5W reverse wired charging features.

Other key specs of the device include 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with dual-band support, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C 2.0, OTG, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, ten-sided anti-fall waterproof and wear-resistant body, ultra-clear 100 million pixels AI imaging, AI smart assistant, 7.9 mm thickness, and 189 gm weight.

The four storage variants are priced at CNY 1199(8GB/128GB), CNY 1399(8GB/256GB), CNY 1599(12GB/256GB), and CNY 1799(12GB/512GB), and three color choices are available for the device – Elegant Black, Haihuqing(Green), and Moon Shadow White.

Honor X60 Pro

Honor’s X60 Pro is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 (4 nm) chipset, and has the Adreno 710 GPU. It comes with the Android 14 based Magic OS 8 custom skin out of the box. The device offers four storage variants – 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB.

For its display, it features an AMOLED display panel, with 6.78″ screen size, 1224 x 2700 pixels resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate support. A 108MP (wide) primary camera and 8MP (wide) selfie camera are also present. The device is also backed with a 6600 mAh (Si/C) battery, and has 66W wired and 5W reverse wired fast charge supports.

5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with dual-band support, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C 2.0, OTG, under-display optical fingerprint scanner, ten-sided anti-fall waterproof and wear-resistant body, ultra-clear 100-megapixel AI imaging, two-way Beidou satellite SMS, all-weather Honor Oasis Eye Protection, dual speakers with stereo sound field, 8 mm thickness, and 188 gm weight are its other specs.

The 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB storage models of the smartphone have price tags of CNY 1499, CNY 1699, CNY 1999, and CNY 2299 respectively. Burning Orange, Elegant Black, Sky Blue, and Basalt Gray are the available color options.

Honor Pad X9 (Snapdragon 680 Processor Model)

Regarding the Pad X9 tablet of Honor, it was debuted in the month of July and was made available in many global markets including India, and the now newly released Pad X9 tablet has a different processor onboard. Yes, the Pad X9 tablet that has been released now in China features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 (6nm) processor and has the MagicOS 8.0 custom skin based on Android 14.

Other key specifications of the tablet are the 11″ LCD 1920 x 1200 pixels 400 nits high refresh-rate eye-protection display, 5MP main camera and 5MP selfie camera, 8300 mAh battery, 80 days long standby, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, global learning space, all-metal body, 7.25 mm thickness, and 495 gm weight.

Regarding the price and availability, three storage models are available – 6GB/128GB for CNY 799(discounted price from CNY 899), 8GB/128GB for CNY 1099, and 8GB/256GB for CNY 1299, and customers can get the device in Starry Gray and Azure (Green) colors.

All the latest three Honor devices are available for purchase now in China, and the shipping is expected to begin from the 25th of October 2024, this month.

As per the poster image shared via the brand’s official Weibo handle, the MagicOS 9.0 launch has been scheduled on the 23rd of October 2024, whereas the Magic 7 series consisting of the Magic 7 and Magic 7 Pro smartphones will be released on the 30th of October 2024. Speaking more, with the tagline ‘Witness the Magic of AI’, Honor reveals that its MagicOS 9.0 will be an AI-centric custom skin, just like the latest custom skins of other brands, and many AI features can be expected on it, as well as on the Magic 7 series smartphones.

Also, the tech world is expecting the launch of OnePlus 13 and Xiaomi 15 series (consisting Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro models) this month too, which are said to be Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered devices. The Xiaomi 15 series launch will be taking place on the 23rd of October 2024.

Honor, the Chinese smartphone maker, will be launching its X7c 4G and X7c 5G smartphones soon and by now, the two devices have appeared on certain certification platforms. The design, color variants, and specifications of the 4G model were shared online recently, following which, the device has been listed in Kazakhstan, however with certain inconsistencies.

Let’s look more into it.

Honor X7c 4G – Revealed Design, Color Variants, and Specifications; Kazakhstan Listing

Firstly, speaking of older updates, initially, it was the 5G model that was first spotted on the IMDA and GCF certification platforms, and this device was revealed to be the rebranded version of the already launched Honor 200 Smart. It was towards the end of last month that the 4G model started appearing on certification platforms, and after its listing on the TDRA database, it had also appeared on the IMDA platform as well. Also to add, the X7c 4G and X7c 5G are the successors to the X7b 4G and X7b 5G devices.

Coming to the update regarding its design, color variants, and specs (received via 91mobiles), the X7c 4G model design-wise will be similar to the 5G variant, which as noted is the rebranded version of the Honor 200 Smart. The device would be arriving in three colors – Green, Black, and White. Both the Green and White color variants are also said to have textured rear panels. Flat display and rear panel, flat side panels with curved edges, redesigned square-shaped rear camera module with four circular units – two with camera lenses, punch-hole front camera, and slim bezels with a slightly thicker chin are the other design specs.

About the revealed specifications, the X7c 4G is pointed out to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685 chipset, and is said to have up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It may have the MagicOS 8.0 custom skin based on the Android 14 operating system out of the box too. For its display, the device is possibly going to have an IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 20.1:9. It is expected to have a screen size of 6.77″, resolution of 1610 x 720 pixels, pixel density of 261 PPI, and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

At the rear, as mentioned, a dual camera unit with a 108MP primary camera and a 2MP additional camera can be expected. A front facing camera of 8MP for selfies is also one among the expected specs. Regarding the battery, the device is likely to have a 5200 mAh battery equipped within it. A wired fast charge feature of 35W might be supported too on the device.

Other expected specs are 4G network connectivity, dual nano SIM, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB type-C, microSD card slot, 3.5mm audio jack, and side-mounted fingerprint reader. The upcoming smartphone may also have an IP64-rated dust and water resistant body with a dimension of 166.9 x 76.8 x 8.1 mm and 191 gm weight.

Finally coming to the Kazakhstan listing, three color variants (Forest Green, Midnight Black & Moonlight White) and two storage options (128GB & 256GB) of the smartphone have been listed. The 128GB model starts at a price of KZT 89,990, whereas the 256GB variant goes all the way up to KZT 109,990.

The two inconsistencies that have been pointed are with the mentioned processor and display size. The 128GB model is listed with MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with display screen size of 6.56, whereas the 256GB model is listed with the previously revealed Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset and screen size of 6.77″. Due to these inconsistencies, readers are advised to be a little cautious with the latest report.

As far as the launch of Honor’s X7c 4G smartphone is concerned, we can expect it to take place soon, and the new listings can be considered as strong factors to its possible imminent launch. Stay tuned.

Honor’s latest upcoming tablet devices – the Tablet X9 and Tablet GT Pro have been listed on the brand’s official Chinese website. The pre-orders for the devices are currently live, and details regarding their color choices and storage options have been revealed.

Honor Tablet X9 and Tablet GT Pro – Pre-Orders Begun

The Tablet X9 and Tablet GT Pro will be launching on the coming 16th of October 2024 in the Chinese market and just a week ahead of it, Honor has decided to give its Chinese customers the opportunity for pre-booking the upcoming tablet models. By paying CNY 100, interested customers can pre-book them and also avail a free shipping benefit for orders over CNY 49. As mentioned, along with the listing of these two tablets, we also got to know about the storage options and color variants that will be made available, before the official launch itself.

The Tablet X9 which will be a Wi-Fi-only tablet with a screen size of 11″ will have 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB storage options. It will come in two colors – Azure(Green/Blue) and Starry Gray.

The Tablet GT Pro will also be a Wi-Fi only tablet with a 12.3″ screen size. The device will have four storage variants – 8GB/128GB, 12GB/128GB, 12GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB. Three color choices of Moon Shadow(White), Star Black, and GT Blue will be provided as well. From what is being said, the Tablet GT Pro could be a slightly modified version of the already launched MagicPad 2 tablet.

Honor had also recently announced the launch of its X60 series smartphones on the same day – 16th October 2024. The two upcoming smartphones of the series – the X60 and the X60 Pro models have also been listed on the official Chinese website with their pre-bookings live. Both the X60 and X60 Pro smartphones will have 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB storage options. The 12GB/512GB variant of the X60 Pro smartphone will also support satellite communication (China Mobile Beidou satellite SMS communication), becoming the first non-flagship device to offer this feature. Honor X60 Series – Launching on 16th October 2024

As per what has been revealed officially by the brand, the latest X60 series of Honor will be breaking its cover on the 16th of October 2024 this month, at 7:30 PM, in China, and the upcoming series will be continuing the legacy and riding on the success of the previous X50 series smartphones. It is said that the brand plans to unveil three more smartphones in the series following the X60i model, and they will feature 35W and 66W fast charging features. To note, the already launched X60i supports 35W wired fast charging, as well as the alleged X60 smartphone which was spotted on the 3C certification platform in August 2024. Moreover, dual curved display, better battery life, great durability, along with other improvements are expected in the upcoming smartphones.

Coming to the X50 series, Honor has shared that after the X50 series release in July 2023, around 15 million units of the device was sold out in 15 months, which means on average, each 2.7 seconds, one unit was sold. Notably, the sold units would add up to 13 Mount Everest as per the company, even with the slim thickness of 7.98 mm.

Honor is nowadays gearing up for the launch of a new smartphone with the name of Honor X7c. As of now, this name has appeared on GCF, Singapore’s IMDA, and UAE’s TDRA certification website. On the GCF certification website, two smartphones with the same model appeared. It was the Honor X7c 5G and Honor 200 Smart 5G that appeared with the model number ALT-NX1. This meant that the same smartphone with two different monikers would be launched in different markets. One has already been launched in the European market, the Honor 200 Smart smartphone, and the second one Honor X7c 5G is still waiting to be launched.

When the Honor X7c smartphone appeared on UAE’s TDRA certification website it appeared with the model number ALT-LX2 which is different from the model number with which the Honor X7c smartphone earlier appeared on GCF and Singapore’s IMDA certification website. We didn’t have any idea about that though now we have.

Now the Honor X7c smartphone has once again been spotted on Singapore’s IMDA certification website but with the model number ALT-LX2 with which it appeared on UAE’s TDRA certification website. And its spotting confirms that it’s a 4G variant. This means that Honor will launch a 5G as well as a 4G variant of the Honor X7c smartphone. As of now the specs of the smartphone have not been confirmed neither company has announced the Honor X7c smartphone.

Earlier we mentioned that the Honor X7c 5G smartphone can be the rebranded version of the Honor 200 Smart smartphone. So let’s get to know about the specs of the Honor 200 Smart smartphone

Honor 200 Smart Smartphone Specifications

Honor 200 Smart features a 6.8-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 2412×1080 pixels and a 20.1:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, an octa-core processor with 2xA78 cores at 2.2GHz and 6xA55 cores at 1.95GHz, alongside an Adreno 613 GPU.

The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It runs on MagicOS 8.0, based on Android 14.

The camera setup includes a dual rear system with a 50MP main camera (f/1.8 aperture) and a 2MP depth camera (f/2.4 aperture). The rear camera supports 1080P video recording and 8X digital zoom. The front camera is 5MP with an f/2.2 aperture, capable of 1080P video recording.

A 5100mAh (rated) or 5200mAh (typical) Li-ion Polymer battery powers the device, with 35W HONOR SuperCharge support.
