Fact Check: Image Of Rihanna Holding A Pakistani Flag Goes Viral

Soon after Rihanna’s tweet on Famers Protest, an edited image of her holding Pakistan’s flag at a cricket stadium has been circulating all over Facebook and Twitter.

Fact Check: The original picture is of Rihanna with the Cricket West Indies (CWI) flag from the 2019 World Cup game at Durham, UK; when she attended the West Indies vs Sri Lanka cricket match.

However, After her tweet about Farmers Protest, the singer received backlash from Indian celebrities and supporters of Farm Laws including the Ministry of External Affairs who along with his statement tweeted with the hashtag #IndianAgainstPropaganda.
