Rajnath Singh applaud Agnipath Scheme says golden opportunity for the youth of India to join the defence system of the country and serve the country.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday praises Agnipath Scheme when the Central government approved the scheme.

In an exclusive conversation with ANI, Rajnath Singh said that the Agnipath scheme by the Central government will give a golden opportunity to the youth of the country to join the defence system and serve the country.

He further said that due to a snag in the recruitment process in the army for two years, many youths are discouraged as they do not get the opportunity to join the army even after putting in all their hard work.

Keeping this in mind the government has decided to increase the age limit from 21 to 23 years this time for Agniveers.

Doing this will help to increase the morale of the people who are preparing for the army and automatically increases the eligibility of many young people to become Agniveers. He appeals to all the youth to prepare well and take full advantage of it.

As some people are happy about due to introduction of the Agnipath Scheme and believe that it will be beneficial for the youth of the country whereas some totally oppose them and believes that it will discourage the youth who are sincerely preparing for army selection.
