Agniveers have to take pledge of not participating in any protest before joining Armed Forces

According to the sources officers from the Army, Navy and Air Force has addressed the media today on ‘Agnipath’ scheme and given some of the vital information about recruitment process.

Top defence officers said today that those who are applying for the centre’s new military recruitment scheme, ‘Agnipath’, would have to give an undertaking that they have not taken part in any of the  violent protest or incident of arson that have broken out across the country.

Agnipath Scheme that was launched by the Union Government on June 14, has led to widespread protest not only from the people but also from the leaders of the opposition parties. They have also launched scathing attack and expressed their sorrow over this scheme.

Rahul Gandhi has recently criticize Prime Minister Modi over this scheme recently and said repeatedly that they are giving false hope of jobs to the youth of India.
