Acer is famous among consumers for introducing gaming monitors, TVs, Laptops, desktop PCs, compact cameras, and projectors for home, office, and entertainment use. It is now said that Acer will soon be making its comeback in the smartphone industry too.
Acer has tied up with Indkal Technologies and this strategic partnership will mark the launch of Acer-branded smartphones in the Indian market. Though the exact launch timeline is not known yet the Acer branded smartphones are said to make their debut in India in mid-2024.
These upcoming smartphones are said to be priced between Rs.15,000 and Rs.50,000. According to Anand Dubey, CEO of Indkal Technologies, “ Our customers will experience exceptionally well-designed smartphones with high-end processors, top-notch camera technology, and a host of premium features across the range.” The company revealed that these devices will be made available for purchase through both e-commerce platforms and offline retail stores across the country.
Acer branded phones will be designed, manufactured, and distributed in India and will be aligned with the Government’s ‘Make In India’ initiative. We might soon come across some more details regarding this upcoming Acer branded devices.
