Comparing the specifications of the two devices, Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 12 5G smartphone is better in terms of its overall specifications when compared with that of the OPPO A78 5G smartphone.

The Redmi Note 12 5G smartphone comes equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset and has a primary clock speed of 2.0 GHz. In comparison to this, OPPO’s A78 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 with a faster primary clock speed of 2.2 GHz. Even if this is the case, Xiaomi’s smartphone will be able to offer a slightly better performance than the OPPO A78 5G.

The Note 12 5G also has an AMOLED display panel with a 6.67″ larger screen size, 1080 x 2400 pixels better screen resolution, and a 120Hz faster refresh rate. The A78 5G features an IPS LCD display with a screen size of 6.56″ and a screen resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. It supports a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The Xiaomi smartphone also sports a triple rear camera setup while the OPPO device has a dual rear camera setup. The OPPO A78 5G, however, has a better 50MP main camera while the Redmi Note 12 5G comes with a 48MP main camera. In addition to the main camera, the Xiaomi smartphone has an additional 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera, and for selfies, a 13MP front camera. The OPPO smartphone offers a 2MP depth camera apart from the main camera and has an 8MP front-facing camera.

Both devices have the same battery backup of 5000 mAh and support the same fast charge feature of upto 33W.

It is very evidently understood going through the specifications of both the devices that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G smartphone is itself better than the more recent OPPO A78 5G. This makes the device the best smartphone in this comparison.
