Comparing the overall specifications of the two devices, the more recently launched Honor 90 smartphone has turned out to be the best when it is compared to Motorola’s Edge 40 smartphone device.
The Motorola Edge 40 smartphone is equipped with the Dimensity 8020 chipset and the Honor 90 device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition chipset. Even if the Motorola device has a slightly faster primary clock speed, a better performance is expected on the Honor 90 smartphone.
Coming to the displays, the Honor 90 smartphone features a larger 6.7″ AMOLED display with a higher screen resolution of 1200 x 2664 pixels, whereas the Motorola device has a P-OLED display panel with a 6.55″ screen size and a 1080 x 2400 pixels screen resolution. It should, however, be noted that the Motorola device supports the fastest refresh rate of 144Hz.

On the other hand, the Motorola Edge 40 device only has a 50MP(main) + 13MP(ultrawide) dual rear camera setup and a selfie camera of 32MP.
Finally, regarding the batteries, the Honor 90 smartphone is backed by a larger battery of 5000 mAh, while the Motorola device packs a 4400 mAh battery. However, when it comes to the fast charge features, the Edge 40 smartphone from Motorola has a slightly faster 68W wired charging feature as well as a 15W wireless charging support. The Honor 90 smartphone, in addition to the 66W wired fast charge support, also supports 5W reverse wired charging.
So, as mentioned, even if there are instances where the specs of the Honor 90 smartphone are compromised when it is compared to the Motorola Edge 40 device, based on the overall specifications, it offers better specs to its users.
