Google announced several new features for YouTube creators and viewers at Made on YouTube 2024. These features give them the ability to express their creativity, build community, and drive long-lasting business. Let’s get to know about these features one by one.
Vep is coming to Dream Screen
Last year announced Dream Screen allowed users to generate backgrounds in YouTube shorts. Now it will be bringing a more realistic background with Google DeepMind’s latest video generation model, Veo.
Inspiration
As a creator, it’s not new to run out of ideas for that content. Google brings an inspiration tab in YouTube Studio that will help creators to curate suggestions and mold them into fully-fledged projects. It will help creators refine the generated ideas, generate thumbnails, and more.
Communities
Communities are a new space that a creator can enable on their channel page. This will help creators to establish a better relationship with their viewers. This will allow both creators and subscribers to post art and pictures, share ideas, and share videos.
Community hub
The community hub is an upgraded space where creators can easily engage with their viewers. They also get AI-enhanced comment reply suggestions in order to be responsive even when their viewers grow.
Auto dubbing
Dubbing can be a very helpful method by which creators can make their videos accessible to large masses. In upcoming months Google will be expanding the dubbing feature to additional creators that will allow them to choose to add dubbed audio tracks automatically.
Hype
You might have heard creators saying on YouTube ‘like’ ‘share’ and ‘subscribe but now the small to medium size creators can ask viewers to click on hype for them. This new future is for small and medium size creators who reach the top of the leaderboard when they get more and more hype. This gives them a chance to get recognition from their viewers.
YouTube Shopping
Google will be expanding the YouTube shopping and the affiliate program beyond the US and South Korea to Indonesia today and Thailand and other countries in the coming days
