POCO has finally launched the POCO F6 series in the global market and the POCO F6 smartphone in India. The smartphone comes with some impressive features, design, and AI features that are no less than a debut in the AI era for the company. Let’s get to know about these phones in detail.
POCO F6
The POCO F6 smartphone features a 6.67-inch wide CrystalRes Flow AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 2400 nits of peak brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate. The display has been certified by TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light. On the rear side, it features a dual Sony camera setup with OIS support. These are a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a Sony IMX355 sensor. The POCO F6 smartphone is the first POCO smartphone to come with an AON feature that enables smart lock detection, smart rotating detection, and smart AOD. It also comes with the AI Air Gesture feature. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. For keeping the smartphone cool even during intense functioning it comes with LiquidCool Technology 4.0, and an IceLoop system of 4800mm square. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 90W turbocharging. The company claims that it can be charged fully in just 35 minutes. It weighs 179g and 7.8mm thick and comes in IP64 rated body.
POCO F6 Pro
The POCO F6 Pro smartphone features a 120Hz WQHD+ Flow AMOLED display with up to 4,000 units of peak brightness, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and TUV Rheinland-certified. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with up to 16GB LPPDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It also features Wildboost Optimization 4.0 and Liquidcool Technology 4.0 for better optimizations. This smartphone also comes with some cool AI features like AI Portrait, AI Expansion, AI Magic Erase Pro, AI Album search, and AI Subtitles. These features will soon be reaching the POCO F6 users. In the camera department, the smartphone comes with a 50MP triple camera system on the rear and features like 8K video recording, and Burst Shot Mode 2.0. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W hypercharge. The company claims that it can be charged fully in just 19 minutes.

In India, only the POCO F6 smartphone has been launched at the starting price of Rs 29,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant and goes up to Rs 33,999 for the 12GB/512GB variant while its 12GB/256GB variant is priced at Rs 31,999. Buyers can get up to Rs 2,000 instant discount on ICICI Bank Credit and Debit cards and EMI transactions. Buyers can also get an additional Rs 2,000 discount as exchange value. As day one exclusive offer buyers will get an additional year of warranty. The smartphone’s first sale will start on Flipkart on 29th May, at 12:00PM.
