Samsung has announced a new Odyssey gaming monitor lineup at Gamescom. This gaming monitor offers glasses-free 3D viewing. Its light field display(LFD) technology creates lifelike 3D images from 2D content by using a lenticular lens on the front panel. This combined with the Eye Tracking and View Mapping technology ensures a 3D experience without any need for glasses. The Eye Tracking of the monitors tracks the movement of the eyes and View Mapping adjusts the image to enhance the depth perception.
The Odyssey 3D monitor is offered in two different sizes, 27” and 37”. The monitor comes with a 4K resolution display, rapid 1ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time, and a high refresh rate of 165Hz. Its easy to adjust with the Height Adjustment Stand, and tilt capabilities. It also comes with the DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 ports. Samsung can launch the Odyssey 3D Gaming Monitor this year in the market.
This monitor will be available at Gamescom 2024 for the gamers. They will be able to experience Krafton’s inZOI, a life simulation game that comes with lifelike realistic graphics. Similar to this gamers will be able to experience the games on the Odyssey gaming monitor lineup at the Odyssey experience zone.
