Huawei Watch GT 5 – Launched in India

Two models of the Huawei Watch GT 5 have been introduced to Indian customers – 41mm and 46mm; with AMOLED display screens of 1.32″(33.52mm) and 1.43″(36.322mm) respectively. The different variants start at a price of INR 15,999, and with bank/coupon discounts, the effective price can be brought even below, and customers will be able to purchase it from INR 15,499.

The 41mm Black/Blue/White – Fluoroelastomer/Leather strap, 46mm Black – Fluoroelastomer/Blue-Fabric/Silicon Strap, and 41mm Gold – Stainless Steel Strap are priced INR 15,999, INR 16,999, and INR 21,999 respectively. As mentioned, Indian customers will now be able to pre-order all these models on Flipkart, and the open sale will begin from the 20th of October 2024.

Huawei Watch GT 5 – Specifications

The Huawei Watch GT 5 features an AMOLED display with 466 x 466 pixels resolution, and 352 PPI and 326 PPI pixel densities for the 1.32″ and 1.43″ display models. It is compatible with Android 9.0+/iOS 13.0+, and features a rotating crown(home button) and side button. The device also has an IP69K-rated body and is 5ATM waterproof.

More than 100 sports modes (along with pro sports mode for Golf, Trail Run and Diving); sensors like ambient light sensor, accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope, barometer, temperature sensor, and optical heart rate sensor; and health trackers like sleep analysis, ECG analysis, pulse wave arrhythmia analysis, and women’s health tracker are supported on the device.

On the connectivity side, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and other location positioning services are present. For calling, a speaker and microphone have also been provided. Regarding battery life, from 3 days to up to 14 days of battery life can be expected based on usage.

OPPO, one of the leading Chinese consumer electronics manufacturers, has officially announced the launch date for its Enco X3 earbuds, Pad 3 Pro tablet, and Watch X smartwatch in the brand’s home market in China. The official launch will be taking place this month.

The new product launch conference for OPPO’s Enco X3 earbuds, Pad 3 Pro tablet, and Watch X earbuds, as mentioned, will be taking place this month itself, on the 23rd of October 2024 at 7 PM local time. The same event will also see the debut of the Find X8 series smartphones – consisting of the Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8 Pro Satellite Edition models. The poster images do share some key aspects of the Enco X3, Pad 3 Pro, and Watch X devices.

The Enco X3 looks very similar to the OnePlus Buds Pro 3, and is pointed out to feature Dynaudio co-developed dual-unit ultra clear sound quality, vocal noise reduction master, and spacial audio. Reports have also suggested that the Enco X3 earbuds specification-wise too, will be similar to the OnePlus Buds Pro 3.

The OPPO Pad 3 Pro tablet is teased to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Advanced Edition processor, and will come with 3K ultra-clear original color screen and Hi-Fi-level eight speakers.

The Watch X smartwatch from OPPO has already debuted in China back in the month of March 2024, and on the coming 24th of October, it is a new color variant that will be released – Glacier Rock Grey Fluororubber strap. Some of its features have also been teased – WeChat watch version independent eSIM, super comfortable liquid silicone strap, and a Professional Leading Mode (for sports).

With the launch of new smartphones, tablet, earbuds, and smartwatch, OPPO plans to unveil a whole range of products to complete its flagship ecosystem, and this has been suggested as well in the shared poster images. In the health suite, you get sensors like heart rate and SpO2 sensors, a sleep tracker, and a menstrual cycle monitor. This smartwatch can also measure stress and detect the noise thus recommending you to move to a quiet place. Xiaomi Watch 2 was launched in global markets in February 2024, yesterday the brand unveiled an upgraded version of this watch globally. It comes in a new Titan grey color option. The smartwatch comes with an upgraded 12-channel heart rate monitoring module sensor and an enhanced sleeping monitoring algorithm that integrates blood oxygen and breath data for comprehensive analysis and more accurate health-related data.
