Xiaomi 15 Series With Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 And Snapdragon 8 Elite Will Officially Make Its Debut In China On 23rd October
A lot has been said and revealed about the Xiaomi 15 series lately. It was said that this smartphone series would make its debut in October but the launch date was not known. Xiaomi has finally decided to disclose the launch date of this much-awaited series.
The Xiaomi 15 series will be making its debut on 23rd October in China. This series is confirmed to arrive with HyperOS 2.0. Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 was earlier revealed to arrive as the first AI operating system. The above launch announcement also reveals that the series will arrive with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
Confused hearing the processor name, obviously, since the past few months, reports revealed that this upcoming series will arrive with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Well here is the catch, reportedly Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 has been renamed as the Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile platform. Seems like Qualcomm will be repeating history by name-shifting its upcoming processor.
Xiaomi 15 series will be the first smartphone series that will be equipped with this all-new mobile platform.
