The South Korean tech giant Samsung has today officially unveiled its latest 2024 Odyssey OLED G8 monitor in the global markets. With this new monitor will be getting next-level OLED experience and new AI capabilities. Let’s dive in to learn more about this all-new monitor.
Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 Monitor
This is the first 32-inch Samsung OLED gaming monitor with 4K UHD resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 240 Hz refresh rate, and 0.03ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time for ultra-smooth and responsive gameplay. It features an OLED glare-free display. It is powered by an NQ8 AI Gen 3 processor that upscales content to nearly 4k when using Samsung Gaming Hub and monitor’s native Smart TV apps.
It features a new proprietary technology- Samsung OLED Safeguard+. This technology is the first in the world to prevent burn-in by applying a pulsating heating pipe to the monitor. It also comes with a Dynamic cooling system and also detects static images like logos and taskbars, automatically reducing their brightness to provide another means of burn-in prevention. The monitor comes with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and is compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync.
Interface options include- 2 HDMI ports, 1 DP port, and 3 USB 3.0 ports. It arrives with an Ergonomic Stand. The pricing and availability details are yet to be revealed by the brand.
