Oppo A3 5G with 6.67″ HD+ Display and Dimensity 6300 SoC Launched in India with 6GB + 128GB Memory Option

The Oppo A3x 5G was recently released in the Indian market, and now its sibling, the Oppo A3 5G, has also been introduced. The smartphone shares many similarities with its sibling, the Oppo A3x 5G, but the rear camera section is a key difference.

Oppo A3 5G Specs

It features a 6.67″ HD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The Oppo A3 5G is powered by the same Dimensity 6300 SoC as its sibling, the A3x 5G, and is paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 1,072 MHz. It is available in a single memory configuration of 6GB LPDDR4X RAM at 2133MHz, with virtual RAM, and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. The device comes with ColorOS 14.0.1 based on Android 14 out of the box.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP AF main sensor with an open-loop focus motor and an LED flash that offers up to 200% brightness for better night-time performance. The front camera is housed in a punch-hole layout and features a 5MP sensor.

The device has a 5,100 mAh battery and supports 45W SUPERVOOC charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm jack. While the global variant of this smartphone supports NFC, the Indian variant does not. However, the Indian variant does support Cell Broadcast Service (CBS), which the global variant lacks.

For protection, the smartphone comes with military-grade shock resistance and liquid resistance. It also offers a fingerprint sensor and face recognition for unlocking.

The phone is reasonably lightweight, weighing approximately 187g with a thickness of 7.7mm.

Pricing and availability

In India, it is offered in a single memory configuration of 6GB + 128GB and comes in two colour options: Ocean Blue and Nebula Red. It is available on the Oppo India website at a price of ₹15,999. Additionally, the global variant offers two memory options: 6GB + 128GB and 4GB + 128GB.
