Vivo X200 Series to Bring Out the World’s First MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Smartphones: Officially Teased
Following MediaTek’s official launch of the Dimensity 9400 chipset, smartphone brands have slowly started to tease its upcoming smartphones that would use the latest flagship 3nm processor. After OPPO, now Vivo has also teased its X200 series that is coming out in a week’s time with the latest Dimensity 9400 chipset onboard.

Vivo X200 Series x MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Officially Teased
It was already confirmed via certain certifications and benchmark listings that Vivo’s X200 series that will include the X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro mini models would be powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset and now, the official confirmation for the same has come from the brand’s side. The Vivo X200 series smartphones will be the very first smartphones that will be launching with MediaTek’s newly unveiled Dimensity 9400 chipset, on the 14th of October 2024, at 7 PM local time, in China.
In a related post, the brand has further added that the X200 series is the first to hit 3 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark database, and it will be the world’s first to feature kilometer-level network free communication (off-network communication optimized with LoRa – long range technology) and ‘dark zone breakout’ 90 fps full-scene mobile ray tracing technology. The X200 series will also have the world’s first LPDDR5X Ultra Pro memory too.
Coming to the other recent updates, the official images of the X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro mini devices have already been shared, as well as the expected price points and storage options of the respective devices. Some of its revealed/expected specifications include the mentioned Dimensity 9400 chipset, OriginOS 5 custom skin, 2160Hz PWM dimming supported OLED display, 50MP Sony LYT-818 primary camera, Zeiss 200MP APO periscope telephoto camera, 135mm/100mm/85mm/50mm/35mm/24mm telephoto portrait focal lengths, telephoto-macro capability with refined composition, ‘Landscape Mode’ for diverse environments, and 4K 120fps slow motion/full-focus 10bit log/4K backlit movie portrait video capabilities. Also to add, the devices will also be integrated with the brand’s very own self-developed Vivo V3+ chip as well for better camera capabilities.
