The Oppo F27 5G, which was recently leaked with all its specs, had been awaiting an official launch date. Oppo has now officially announced the smartphone for the Indian market. The design looks quite similar to that of its sibling, the F27 Pro+, which was also launched recently in India.
You also get features like Bedtime Mode, Smart Backlight, and AI Brightness. Additionally, there are numerous AI features, including AI Studio, AI Eraser 2.0, AI Smart Image Matting 2.0, AI LinkBoost, Beacon Link, AI Recording Summary, and the AI Toolbox.
Oppo F27 5G Specs
No surprises here—it comes with a 6.67″ wide Full HD+ AMOLED display, featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate and 2100 nits of brightness. Once again, the Dimensity 6300 SoC powers this smartphone, paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 1068 MHz. It runs on ColorOS 14, based on Android 14. The device includes LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
On the rear, you’ll find a 50MP main sensor with an open-loop motor, alongside a 2MP macro sensor with Halo light. The front is well-equipped with a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor for better selfies.
The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. For protection, it offers an IP64-rated body, a fingerprint sensor, and facial recognition. You’ll also get dual SIM capability, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth version 5.3 (with support for SBC, AAC, aptX HD, and LDAC), USB Type-C, and Cell Broadcast Service (CBS) support. And thankfully, Oppo has decided not to remove the charger from the box with this smartphone.
The device is also lightweight, weighing just 187 grams, with a thickness of 7.69mm for the green variant and 7.76mm for the amber variant.
Powered by dual stereo speakers, it offers a 300% Ultra Volume mode. Additionally, it features HALO mode, Oppo’s audio spatialization technology, designed to deliver seamless audio experiences with headphones or earphones.
Oppo F27 5G Pricing and availability
Although the leaked information suggested that sales would begin on 18th August, Oppo may have made a last-minute change and released it today. The device is available in two storage options: 128GB and 256GB, but only one RAM option of 8GB. The 128GB variant is priced at Rs 22,999, while the 256GB version costs Rs 24,999. You can also choose between two colours: Emerald Green and Amber Orange.
