The Transference Field was created as a reaction to my experience with the “Totem” project. Designed to be more malleable to the environment it became a collaboration between myself and each space it was installed. Created out of fiber optic cable and filling a space approximately 70ft x 70ft, the field is an immersive experience for a viewer to see the space in a way that is determined by the space. The different wind conditions create a different experience in each location, from violent to subtle, expressing the energy of each location to the viewer.
